Pepsi and Colts Dominate TodayPublication Date: Monday November 7, 2016 10:16:50 pm EST
Players pose for pictures after their match at St Mary's today. The pepsi and colts team won their respective football matches today impressively. While the pepsi team only managed to officially get two goals pass the St Mary's goal keeper, the colts team defeated its counterpart five goals to nil. Although the pitch was soggy and difficult to navigate, the Ascot players rose to the challenge and met the ultimate objective- to secure maximum points from both games. In the pepsi match the goals scorers were Shacquille Baptiste and Mikhail Williams. The colts match outputed multiple Ascot goal scorers. Chazz Graham, Oneil Thomas, Kevaughn Harris, Kemar Daley and Omar Sutherland. The coach of the two teams, Mr Beckford, believes that the only challenge they faced today was the water logged playing surface. He said,     "The game was easy, but the playing surface was a challenge." The results from today's games now puts Ascot pepsi team on 9 points and the colts team on 6 points. The game between Edit Dolton James and Ascot had to be postponed due to the failure of officials to show. With these games in store, Ascot should finish the pepsi and colts competitions in a much better position than their Manning Cup counterparts. |
