Colts and Pepsi Advance and are on Target for GloryPublication Date: Friday November 11, 2016 11:06:10 pm EST File: Colts team prepares for their Kingston Technical match at Ascot After the forfeiture of Edith Dolton James High of a rescheduled match today both Ascot pepsi and colts team advance to the second round of their respective football competitions. Last Wednesday November 2 Ascot was scheduled to play the pepsi and colts teams of Edith Dolton James High School at Edith. However, no referee showed. Hence the match was rescheduled to today. However, word came to Ascot that Edith foreited the matches. At this moment we are unaware of the reasons for the forfeiture. Ascot was subsequently informed that they advanced to the second round. With the transpiration of the events today, Ascot's pepsi team ended the first round on 12 points while the colts team ended on 9 points. This advance now poises both the pepsi and colt teams to achieve the glory they sought at the start of the season as they seek to aptly vanquish all their second round oponents to move even to closer to the crown. |
