Vaccines for Students

Students 12 years older and above are invited to take the Pfizer Vaccine.

As a part of the government’s initiative to facilitate face-to-face classes soon, students from grades 10 – 13 are invited to take the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine at the following vaccination sites from Saturday August 21, 2021 to Tuesday August 24, 2021:

• Portmore HEART Academy
• Eltham High School
• Dinthill Technical High School
• Old Harbour High School
• Jago Park Health Centre
• Guys Hill High School (Monday and Tuesday Only)

Students who will be visiting the sites for the vaccine should take the following documents with them:

• Government Issued Identification (Passport, Voters ID, Drivers’ Licence). If the child does not have any government identification, a passport-size picture and a letter stamped by a Justice of the Peace will suffice. The school identification will also suffice.
• Birth Certificate

Parents/guardians are encouraged to accompany the child to the site where they may also receive the vaccine. If parents/guardians are not able to accompany their child/ward, then a consent letter must also be presented indicating that the parent/guardian consents to the child receiving the vaccine.

Please also remember to observe the COVID-19 protocols as you travel to the vaccination site. Please be safe.
