After losing to Jamaica College 11-0 last Saturday, Ascot defeated Pembroke Hall 1-0 yesterday at Jamaica College football field. Returning to Jamaica College to play against Pembroke Hall during a televised encounter, Ascot players would have entered the match with some level of anxiety due to the memory of their tragic defeat at the same venue. Nevertheless, it seems as if those memories were tossed aside when Oshawny Facey scored the most important goal to secure the three (3) points for Ascot High School. It is hoped that the team will continue with their winning ways as they play prepare to play Excelsior High School. |
