Our Society of Mathematicians

Our department has a vibrant community of students interested in math and math education for the purpose of supporting, encouraging and networking with each other and the society at large. Students often choose to work on homework together, provide tutoring and employ critical thinking to social life. This community is nurtured through numerous opportunities.

Social events: We enjoy spending time together. Sometimes this occurs in our Math Club or math gatherings. Activities have included movies, gaming and other social gatherings. 

 Mathematics and engage in critical thinking, while also participating in a mathematics competition with great prizes.

Math Teachers Circle: Students interested in math education can request the presence of the mathematics department to collaborate and speak on interesting topics in mathematics. This helps to provide students with experience and professional development opportunities similar to what they will have as practicing teachers and study partners.

Math competitions: Students are given this great opportunity to learn more about
